I honestly wouldn't be so :( about this if it were pointed out as a real issue. Their issue could've been resolved more easily if Kristin told her boss that she'd been dating a source (who she even named!) as well as passed the beat to another writer. Everyone mentioned Kristin writing so balanced, yet she wasn't called out for her lack of integrity in journalism. HOWEVER, the fact is that Kristin was actively sleeping with her source while writing the article. The biggest offender: The article was very valid and necessary.

Don't shame her for needing mental health days.ĥ. I can’t have the company going under just because your heart has been smashed to bits." Not too long before this, she said that Lucy never called in sick, so I'm sure the company would be just fine.

This may be small, but I hated a comment from Emory: "make sure you’re at work tomorrow. I agree that the issue of the article needed to see the light of day, but human feelings are well, human.Ĥ. In this day of social media, that story could have done major damage to her company. She deserved time to collect her thoughts and heal. They rushed Lucy to forgive Kristin too quickly. They are the opposite of the "friend couple" you want around.ģ. It felt more like they were tag teaming against Lucy without considering her point of view enough. I didn't find them to be helpful friends. It took me a while to be somewhat convinced that Lucy and Kristin were compatible. I'm almost shocked to rate a Brayden story like this, but I had to after I realized I was pissed rather than smiling at the end.ġ. There are certainly both of those in the story, but not enough to boost the star count. Knowing this is Melissa Brayden, I went into the story with high hopes of cutesy fluff and gooey feels.
